STI_Kid Posted November 22, 2010 Report Share Posted November 22, 2010 I nearly died today...Travelling back to leicester from corby and went past mkt harborough got on the A6 and what am i surprised with?...2 f00kin foxes that ent moving off the road so i didnt wana hit them as i didnt want damage on my c70 as i recently had it sprayed on some panels and i had braked causing the rear end to spin out and roll a few times causing me up in the air and hitting down very hard on a tree! for a moment i thought i had died until realising i could move. The vehicle was on its room *roof* offroad and as we know on the a6 towards mkt harborough its hardly lit so no-one seen us . We were stuck in the cold and i could smell petrol leaking out and both front windows were closed so i was screaming and crying help, i tried kicking the windows but as they were double glazed, i dont think i was able to break through as i was very limited with enery! My friend then got out through the rear window as it was smashed due to the roll and he pulled me out! i was bleeding very severely from my face and hands etc and he had some cuts etc. The airbags and volvos SIPS saved our lives . I rang me elder cousin with the silver wrx mw51 subaru and he came to the help! i decided not to ring police as i was very very shaken although it was a very very stupid thing to do i must admit! As soon as my cousin arrived, he called the emergency service to help us and police arrived took statements etc and verified insurance! So as it stands now the vehicle will have to be recovered tomorrow from the a6 and sorry but it will be closed as police have said they will close it whilst the vehicle is being recovered for other road users safety. VERY LUCKY MATE glad you managed to get out all okit was quite a drop! thanks for all your kind input guys, makes me feel alot better..got it back to my garage with a mates recovery! time to strip down and sell it for parts and see what i can get out of it!
