for freedom,to sail, to fly

they go where they are posted,

but no-one joins to die

Politicians talk on TV, "what could we have done?"

But have they lost a father, a daughter or a son?

So heres to our brave hero's, wherever they may be

And to all their families, i raise a glass to thee.

yes very well said fella , as an ex squaddie and army brat , ive got about 81 years service between me my dad mum and two brothers , the forces is a good life , real good mates etc,, etc,, it still amazes me the hard ship that people have went through , to keep this country great !!!!! so remember them who have went before us , and never forget wot they have done !!!!!!!

had our 2 mins silence too at work.

god bless em all that have served,are serving or died while serving.

a great shame the chav scum dont appreciate it.

should send em as cannon fodder!

see if theyre as brave on the front line as they are outside the spar shop in there hoodies!

tbh quite discus-ted at the amount of replies to this post , try going to afghan and getting shot at , and yes ive been there , !!!! ive seen the amount of members on tonight , and it takes the p**s !!!

Spent ten years in the TA got to go to some places Falklands being one of them,huge respect for all serving members past and present.
