It is a late “blobeye” variant using the widetrack chassis setup. I fully expect that most of the people on here will know the specifics of this model better than I do. Mileage on Import: 63k Mileage on Purchase (Nov 2018): 79k Current Mileage: 85k Car was treated on the underside and cavity protected on import by Torque GT. I am the 3rd UK owner. Summary Of Modifications · Standard factory fit Japanese stereo replaced with a UK stereo (Pioneer AVH-3300BT). · The dash top glove box has been replaced with a gauge pod with 3 x Pro Sport gauges with alarms and peak recall (Oil P. Oil T, and Water T). · A-pillar mounted ProSport Gauge with alarm and peak recall (Boost Pressure). · The whole dashboard and centre gauge pod has been flocked. · Performance Modifications with a custom (switchable) engine map by Andrew Carr producing approx. 280 or 350 BHP and 377ft.lb of torque at up to 1.6 bar boost. Mods comprising: o Scoobyworx SWRD Fuel Pump o 3 port Boost solenoid o K&N Air filter (in standard air intake system) o VF36 billet compressor (turbo) o Ported Headers o Milltek 3” Exhaust system. · Cusco Cooling plate · Hardrace engine, and gearbox mounts; and engine stabiliser bar. · Superpro front wishbone bushes · Rollcentre correction kit · Upgraded rear diff mounting bushes · Upgraded adjustable 24mm front anti roll bar. (Original Spec-C ARB included) · Prodrive 23mm adjustable rear anti roll bar (RB320 spec). · Meister R Pro Adjustable Coilover suspension · Cusco Front and rear strut braces · HEL braided brake lines with Godspeed Front “J hook” brake discs and uprated pads all round (Carbone Lorraine RC5) · Cusco Brake Stopper. · Front and rear rally style mudflaps in black with STI logo in pink · Rear wing carbon risers. · Original OEM Enkei made Impreza WRX STI Spec C wheels (17x8J ET53 5x114.3PCD), currently in silver and fitted with Yokohama A052 in 235x45x17 (in Apr 2021) · OEM Enkei made Impreza WRX STI Spec C Type RA wheels (17x8J ET53 5x114.3PCD) are also available, in a metallic grey colour and fitted with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo tyres 235x45x17. Other Info Original import documents all available along with the owners booklet and original JDM service history. Almost every receipt and such is available and will come with the car. MOT currently runs to 28/02/2022. Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser with insurance installation certificate etc. Car has been well looked after and properly maintained by specialists, and recently had over £2,500 spent on suspension maintenance and setup (including a new set of A052 tyres) in April 2021. In 2020 the car had a windscreen out repaint on the roof (to address rust spots forming above the windscreen – which were very light and dealt with early as a result), a refresh of the boot lid (it had been marked while in Japan by what I presume was the fitment of a STI style wing at some time in the past) and the straightening and repainting of the sills as the seams had been folded over in places. I have pictures of the before and after. At the same time due to an idiot, it also got a new rear bumper and number plate bracket due to a very low speed rear shunt (when I was about 200m from the bodyshop) that crushed the bracket and split the bumper in the slim section under the number plate. I have pictures of all of the before after type stuff. If you are a WR Ltd aficionado, I need to also declare that it no longer has it’s original WR Ltd branded front seats (removed by first UK owner). It appears to have UK STI Ver 8 seats, which from the photos look to be identical but with an Sti logo. I understand that it also does not have the WR Ltd specific gear knob, it appears to have an STI branded alternative which is as it came from Japan. Now for the bad bit… The gearbox is starting to snatch and sometimes crunch 4th gear when worked hard and trying to shift very quickly. I have been quoted for having the gearbox rebuilt and have factored this in lowering the asking price for the car. I am looking for £18,000 as an asking price, and think in the current market this is a fair price for this car with the setup it has, and the overall condition it is in. I will shortly upload a bucket load of photos to Googledrive into a folder that I can share with anyone who is interested in the car.

  5. For Sale, my well used but well looked after Subaru Forester STI in Crystal Grey Mica 48W. I have owned the car for 9 years and covered around 70k miles in that time. the car currently has 105k miles on the clock. The car has been in the country since new, it is not a fresh or recent import. It had the head gasket done at 90k miles, at which time it also had a new uprated clutch (as I planned to up the power) but bought a second car for that purpose instead. It also had a cam belt at the same time - about 2 years ago now, so isn't due for a while. This has been used as a family car and a track car in the past, but only as a family car for about the last 4 years. (I have a separate track car now). The car had new genuine Brembo discs and pads all round for last years MOT, and a new set of tyres all round this year (Dunlop Sport Maxx RT2). The car was quickly cleaned this evening (but no waxed) to take the photos. The car could do with some TLC, and to be fair needs a little paint. the A pillar got scratched years ago by a windscreen fitter, and the repair done by chips away has failed and needs to be redone. It also needs the roof repairing where something fell on it. Car has a thick folder with 9 years of history, servicing, parts etc. Car is close to OEM, and still runs the OEM map. It is fitted with the aero spats, and with the STI pink springs on the standard shocks. Centre dash was replaced with a black painted UK dash, as it went sticky (common issue). It also has front and rear whiteline strut braces, rear is on quick release so can be removed. Front shocks have the common knock problem that comes and goes. I deal with this by using spray grease on the struts about twice a year which seems to deal with the problem. Boot has a genuine liner/mat, and has the load cover as well. Wheels are ready for a refurb, and the interior could do with a damn good clean, I will try to do this weather permitting, and then add some interior pics. Car is fitted with a PSI3 but this will be removed. The PSI 3 is fitted into a genuine OEM double DIN nav pod, with the convertor to install the clock in a single DIN. This can all be converted back to the original dash top glove box, parts will be provided. Car can be supplied with a Pioneer double DIN stereo, this is negotiable. There is also a box full of various parts, inlcuding the sticky centre dash and the original dash top "glove box". This car is a well looked after example that has become a bit battered and bruised by serving as a family car, and this is reflected in the price. Open to sensible offers. Any questions please ask - if you want photos let me know.

  7. Took the spec c for a run out at Oulton Park at the weekend. I think it might be my new favourite circuit.

I know it is a video not a photo, but to keep it all together, here's one of my laps, not perfect, missed a gear and it was from early on. I was having too much fun to keep remembering to press the button to start it. But have to say very pleased with this video and audio quality from the Gopro hero 4 session that I bought second hand from CEX for £85.
  11. TBH, already got plans that weekend otherwise I'd have been interested.
  12. Yeah I'd seen that one and was interested in going.
  13. There doesn't seem to be much interest in shows this year, or is it just me ?
