has anyone driven the a606 to melton mowbray and then carried on the b6047 to market harborough???

ive heard its a good little country blast. might check it out for a sunday blast one weekend....

Yes, i was working near Uppingham and used this road for several weeks earlier this year...i was driving an Isuzu Pick-up though!

Ok, this is my back yard so i'll tell you the best B-Road blat (also voted by MCN as the 4th and 5th best biking roads in the UK).

Market Harborough to Melton on the B6047, get into melton and then make your way onto the B676, Melton to Colsterworth. Continue from Colsterworth to Corby Glen and take the B1176 back to Grantham. Its around 50 miles, and its better than the nurburgring!

i know that areas roads well

just be on the lookout for psycho bikers as they really love it out that way too and can be abit mental
