Recommended Posts

Just been looking at a post on West Mids Imprezas and they are getting CB radios in their cars so that they can keep in touch on convoys, track days etc ?

Might be good to stay in touch?

Just a thought. They have a discount with a comnpany called Thunderpole or something for about £80

What do you reckon ?

still legal by all accounts

We used to use small walkie talkies on the Peak tours years ago from Maplin or Tandy or somewhere like that. I think they were about £35 for two in a pack. You just have to make sure that they are all on the same frequency, I don't think you can get multi channel walkie talkies anymore on the same frequency as CB. Might be wrong though

We use to use walkie talkies a couple of years back on MS outings, worked quite well as there were 3 people who had them, one at the front, one in the middle of the convoy and the third one at the rear ...that way no one got lost when we hit traffic lights or round a bouts.

Thats my 2 pennith if its worth owt :thumb:
