Dave
I got me a new phone one of theseHTC Desire HDand on buggering about with it i discover that on by default is GPS location tag so that everytime you take a picture it tags it with gps, open google maps app and it shows you within 50metres or so where you took it. Handy or not.Bloody dodgy if you upload to sites like Nuts, dogging uk etc as if you've not switched the function off half the perverts on the globe know where you live. Scarey thought.Out of 20 random pics i checked(non porn before anyone comments) FB, twitter etc about 6 were GPS tagged, most taken using Iphone 4 so check your phones i say
Scratch
Yes, I turned this functionality off straight away on my Nokia, but good point not everyone would know/notice.

Andyswagon
I've got exactly the same phone dave, hows the battery life on yours? i found that my facebook, twitter etc etc were turned on to update every 5 mins which drained it rapidly but now it's loads better. Also how are you finding it? i think it's absolutley brilliant!
Dave
Phones great blows iPhone into the weeds as far as I'm concern. Very flexible loads of functions, fast to. Couple of downsides I'm on my 3rd in a month 1st kept sending all calls to answer phone and saying it had missed calls even though the phone never rang and I had a signal. It's replacement had no working speaker this one so far so good. Battery life is pants charge it everyday and I got a spare battery from eBay for a fiver. But yeah best phone I've seen
Scratch
After much consideration I've gone for a Nokia N8, although was serious considering the Desire HD. Was also considering a Windows 7 phone but I all the ones I've seen have a claimed low battery life by comparison to N8/Desire so I thought it would likely not do well, plus I think the OS is a bit immature yet as well. Updates are already been delayed. You can't even do basic cut and paste yet FFS, so I was forced to strike W7 off the list.
