A couple of people have asked me why there isn't the "View New Content" button on the new forum layout.   Well there is, but its been replaced by a "activity" button at the top of the page. I've had a play with this today and if you liked the old "View Content" button then it can be replicated by creating a custom activity stream   Click on the drop down menu "My Activity Streams"
