Is there a blockage in the dipstick tube? is the dipstick long enough. Wouldn't there be a lot of smoke or mess if it was losing so much oil? Have you considered draining the oil to measure how much is in the sump?

No not really, there is always traffic after a few laps that you have to wait to pass or your the traffic and you have to let them pass you. Once you have had a go you will know what I mean.

It's very different to a track day as your driving flat out, I highly recommend it.
