Classic46
Hi, thanks for replying, I don't need the airbox now, we've eliminated airflow as being the problem so I'm going to stick with my cone filter for now. Thanks anyway Craig
The Gaffer
Hi, what is the "problem" Kev
Classic46
Hi, I have a starting problem. When I start the car, it turns over then it stops then carries on turning over then eventually starts up, you could say it dies then carries on turning over. After it starts you can smell unburnt petrol. We checked the injectors yesterday and they work but it runs fine once it's started.
john
Has the car been set up for a cone filter.
Classic46
Hi, not as far as I know but it was already on the car when brought it, it didn't have this problem when I brought the car. Since owning the car I've changed the fuel pump(RCM), turbo(TD05), intercooler, knock sensor, temp sensor, turbo inlet pipe. I know it needs mapping, just waiting on my guy to map it. The Gaffer
Hi, very dangerous to run with that list of nods and no mapping, incidentally how does your man intend to carry out the mapping ?
Classic46
Hi, I understand running the car in its current condition is not ideal. As for your question, if I'm honest I'm not sure how he intends to map it. Craig

Classic46
I believe it needs an ESL to be able to map it

The Gaffer
Hi, by the time you have added an ESL board you nay as well go the extra yard and go with an Alcatek at £899.00 + vat fitted and mapped. Kev
