sammasson
Bought my first Sti on Monday. Been driving it normally and then the turbo blows The last owner decided to put duct tape around the inlet of the turbo and the turbo decided to eat it. So im looking for a Td05 or a VF23. Need it tomorrow and near Stockport Thank you
Rob5
Hi sorry about ur bad news and welcome to the MS M8 Also consider an vf 34 if budget is low and it thinking of having more power later on these are a good price and good for 350 bhp
Tidgy
you wont get a vf34 cheaper than a 23 or td05. vf35 maybe though
RichRB320
If someone has bodged duct tape on the inlet of the turbo the first thing I would do is get it to one of the spomsors for a full check over just to be safe!!

sammasson
It's had a full check all then engine has been taken out and checked and it's perfect loads of money spent. It looks like he's spent all this money on the car and just wanted it running so be could not be bothered buying the right part and just did a bodge job
salsa-king
If the turbo's blown, doesn't it break up and get in the engine? On my wifes Focus that had turbo go, it was three flushed of the engine to clear it all out. Got done under warranty.. but not a cheap job.
