fildigger
Check with your bank,,,seriously, many banks & credit cards do all sorts of incentives to get you to upgrade....i upgraded my Santander normal account to a Rewards account for an extra £10 a month i get all sorts of benefits like lost keys cover, european health/ accident insurance and free membership with the RAC (i was already a member of the RAC for ten years, was paying around £130 a year, so obviously cancelled that) Quids in ! Steve
Mines full AA cover with my bank plus the other stuff fildigger mentionedMy Porsche exhaust gasket went on one of the silencers, AA came out, admitted it needed to go to my specialist, Picked it up the next day and took it 30 + miles to the other side of Notts and no extra charges like Nick describes. I guess its which bank you are with.Scoob sprung a water leak out of a broken pipe, came to work, fixed it no problem. Unfortumately they dented my wings, but the AA (through my bank) paid for all of the dent removal. No questions asked.Absolutely brill Steve Edited October 3, 2012 by Steve777
fildigger
I know what you mean Nick about some of the spurious offers/freebies made by financial institutions to get your business but like Steve, i have checked with the RAC directly (when i cancelled my cover) and they confirmed that my benefits are exactly the same (full onward travel and at Home service)..the only difference is i ring a different number on breakdown.
