Steve

Recommended Posts

Who's up for go karting ? Say 15th or 16th September.

Gauging interest as we will need a minimum 10 I would have thought?

Was thinking Birmingham wheels or the one at whymswold (not sure how to spell it!)

If we get enough interest over this weekend I'll make some enquiries

Thinking here

or here

http://www.grandprixkarting.co.uk/

Ultimtely this is the best circuit, but a bit of a drive ! Not cheap though, so maybe best going to one of the two above

I've emailed Sutton circuit to find out options for an afternoon race on Saturday or Sunday. Hopefully the Sunday will be available.

Be a great laugh

Will post up prices when i hear back from them

Cheers

I've had a first reply back from Sutton saying they have space on the Saturday

Practice/qualifying followed by 2 x 25 min races

£55 each

I have sent a further email asking about the Sunday as well

So it's down to everyone to get their names down now. I'll give it a couple of weeks and if there is enough interest will take it forward from there

As a MOD posted the thread and it hasn't been moved I assume Steve thought this the best section for it. If he wants to move it then he can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deffo interested n pricipal.

The Wmeswold one is F1 Karting it's indoors and has an up and over figure of 8. It's cheap and fun, but the sessions are over way too quick (about 30 sec a lap IIRC).

I can recommend from personal experience PFI karting in Newark (been several times), not cheap, £160 per kart for a 100 lap endurance race, but an outdoor circuit with tin engine karts, well fun.

When I've done this place before it's been a shared kart, 3-4 people per kart, so 40-50 quid each....
