hendo
Load of bollox. 4.5 million of taxpayers money spent on that pile of Shiite going round the country. Should've spent that money on the NHS or something worthwhile.

hendo
Lots of things are "once in a life time things" if you only do them once. Don't buy into it all myself. Yes, am looking forward to the actual games, but the torch debarckle.?? Remember, it's not just the same torch, every barer gets one to take home! I'm all for the Olympics. But not some torch that's been doing the rounds for the past month....God I'm a grumpy sod, anyhow Germany Italy is on!!!!! Sheepy
waste of time effort and money..why not cut down on the cost and have 1.. torch.having one for 8000 runners is a complete waste of money..gonna cause absolute chaos in london for a month when its on and the paralympics..its hard enough to drive round london as it is without this going off.... -Stealth-
Went to see it as it passed through bridgford. Not that impressed to be honest, but one of my bests Barry (Daniel Whittingham) was the torch bearer up to the ice stadium. He got blown up in Afghanistan in a IED and lost his leg. He's since road the atlantic to raise money for help the heroes so feel quite proud of him to be involved in it. I know he's well chuffed to be accepted and really enjoyed it, plus like hendo says, he gets to keep the torch!
