Load of bollox. 4.5 million of taxpayers money spent on that pile of Shiite going round the country. Should've spent that money on the NHS or something worthwhile.

It's been through Newark today.

went down and watched it near the church, I was underneath me subaru brolley,

so look out for it on the news.

It's completely overhyped.

There were lots of hawkers selling flags and whistles and other such tatt.

3 buses go past

Coca-cola then a samsung bus then a Lloyds TSB one

Then the torch

But it's a once in a lifetime event so why not go and see it?

Lots of things are "once in a life time things" if you only do them once. Don't buy into it all myself. Yes, am looking forward to the actual games, but the torch debarckle.?? Remember, it's not just the same torch, every barer gets one to take home!

Bex asked if I wanted to see it. I told her I'd run up the drive in mi trackies carrying a fag lighter. Can't see what the fuss is about. I'm all for the Olympics. But not some torch that's been doing the rounds for the past month....

God I'm a grumpy sod, anyhow Germany Italy is on!!!!!

waste of time effort and money..why not cut down on the cost and have 1.. torch.having one for 8000 runners is a complete waste of money..gonna cause absolute chaos in london for a month when its on and the paralympics..its hard enough to drive round london as it is without this going off....

Went to see it as it passed through bridgford. Not that impressed to be honest, but one of my bests Barry (Daniel Whittingham) was the torch bearer up to the ice stadium.

He got blown up in Afghanistan in a IED and lost his leg. He's since road the atlantic to raise money for help the heroes so feel quite proud of him to be involved in it. I know he's well chuffed to be accepted and really enjoyed it, plus like hendo says, he gets to keep the torch!

Was not bothered myself tbh but I wanted to make sure I made the effort for the kids

They will always remember the evening and the fact we queued to have our photo taken holding one of the torches!!!

By the way......the torch bearers had to buy them too ha ha ha !!!
