Hi Guys and Gals,

Didn't know if anybody on here was a self employed painter and decorator.

If So get in touch,

I'm looking for lounge, dining room, hall stairs and landing painting inc wood work and ceilings.

been told its about a weeks work,

I've had a couple of people turn up and quote but it would appear either i'm in the wrong profession or I have t.w.a.t tatoo'd on my head.

If you are or know of anybody interested (forest answer your phone) drop me a pm or text me on 0779 5547310.

cheers

Shaky

what level C&G?

were you at Basford Hall, what years?

were you there when I was doing C&G (early 90's)?

or when I lectured there?

I thought "if you can p**s you can paint" :)

Very true Lee very true, anyone can paint, but its all about quality and speed.

I mean you`ll take 2 or 3 days to paint a lounge and make a mess of it...i.e paint on the carpet, paint on the ironmongery and generally look s**t and I`ll paint a complete 3 bed house in 6 days and it`ll be perfect :thumb:

I got to say,

Give Forest some credit here, I have come home tonight and been very impressed so far.

The fillings all been done, woodwork rubbed down and under coated and he's even started the emulsioning.

Only thing I would criticise him on is I wish he could reach higher than the bloody skirting boards!!!!!!!!! :thumb:

On a serious note, great job so far

(p.s, I can pi55 and I cant paint.......)

Well its Day 2 of the great British paint off at Casa del Shaky.

Got home tonight to find front of house painted completely,(mock tudor) Forest even cleaned my gutters, sofits, facia's and barge boards whilst he was up there. :unworthy:

Moved inside to find, Hall, Stairs, Landing, Dining room and Lounge completely emulsioned (this would have taken me a month and looked nothing like how it does) he certainly hasn't done any of this :coffee:

My house was the show home for the estate in its day and I have to say was starting to look a bit tired. :crybaby: but not now it will be the talk of the neighbourhood :secret:

Well impressed to say the least, so much so I think the garage might be subject to a 'Forest Makeover' in the next few weeks. ;):D:clap:
