I think everything is there. No sandwhich plate. Didn't order one. Bry told me he didn't need his on the RB5 so i didn't bother. Yep might need a hand. Haven't done any before

Hopefully we can fit the same way as you Bry, but if not i'll give you a shout for the plate.

Oh and thanks very much for helping to sort out this gauge set for me. Much appreciated. David is a top bloke :funny34d:

Dunno mate tbh everyone I've done is from a sandwich plate. There is a spare outlet somewhere on the block, was a post a few weeks ago about it but can't find it now. It screws in easy enough I believe. Think Andy may know. I've the same gauges in as these as well.

I think thats for temperature, somewhere around cylinder 3. Oil pressure is somewhere under the alternator and i think this is where you need the adaptor, so you can use both although i might be wrong

I have the correct Brass adapter for the spare blanking plug above number 3 cylinder (has the correct threaded hole for your oil temp' sender).....this is the best place for temp' readings (hotest part of engine block)

Yes, i am sure lee can piggyback the OE oil pressure sender so you don't lose your light on the dash.

Good luck, Phil.

I won't have time to get over mate tbh. If not we can get all prep work in place and collect and fit later, unless Steve can source one before Sunday. Or he can collect it from you? .......Steve??

You have PM Steve

To piggy back the Oil Pressure sender you will need an 'Electrical' Gauge in the first place (as opposed to a Mechanical gauge).....i.e it will have wires to send the info' to the gauge as opposed to a capillary tube!...if you get my drift?

I would assume it is an electrical gauge with stepper motor so Hendo should sort for you thumbup.gif

Thanks.

OK, so you mean connect the wires in parallel from one sender ?
