So there's a point why have I got a package deal ?? Ahh remember now as I have phone Internet too , but yeah just check what channels you watch and maybe save some dosh mate !!! scoobyspud Posted May 17, 2011 Author Report Share Posted May 17, 2011 Well, rang up sky and told them I wanted to cancel my subscription.This Scottish gent said I could have a HD box and fitting for free.It's an extra 12 quid a month for 12 months but after 43 days I'd get £100 cashback.I said that was fine and I'd go ahead with it.He then asked me if I'd got a home phone line and when I said nohe told me it would be £30 to activate the box manually.i said i wasn't going to pay that and he told me i basically had no choice in the matter.so I told him to cancel the subscription and I'd go the freeview route.
