DEEDEE
Anounced today that the speed limit on the Motorway network has been revised. You will no longer acrue points on your license for speeding upto 89mph. You will be offered a Driver Awareness Course. I guess this is another law that says it is okay to break the National Speed Limit, but when we catch you speeding we will do you. So how can they say its okay to speed but just jont get caught. I have a Theory on this. Petrol is so expensive and sales are down, so the quicker you go more fuel you use, more you buy.
scatty
sounds ok to me...lets face it who drives at 70mph anymore...maybe back in the 1970's 70mph was the correct speed, but not anymore....i reckon you should be able to do 85....and if i got caught doing 89mph, id happily take the awareness course and the fine....you takes your chances and all that... DEEDEE
Yes I know everybody does over 70mph, but the law states MAX SPEED is 70mph on our Motorway network. So is it 70mph or 80+mph. Its a cop out, Change the LAW so its quite clear, Abide or break the Law fooked if I know.
