depending on the bank it should be instant..... but it is a saturday so be warned about them shutting early!!

you could always ring your bank to confirm the money has arrived..... and then let him drive off!

can he not get cash???

He's coming along way from Norfolk via train so he's hoping to take the car back due the distance etc. I have internet banking etc so i'll be able to see if it's clear, suppose i could ring the bank to just to be safe.

Dave, where did you advertise it to get someone from Norfolk to buy? just out of interest as I am attempting to sell mine.

I must admit, if I get dicked around like I did when I sold my last one I will either take a cheap price to PX it or keep it and stick it in the garage for a couple of years.

Pistonheads matey, every decent enquiry i've had over this car came from there and at the moment if this guy doesn't have it then i've got 3 others waiting in the wings coming from as far as Darlington. I started off on the free section on Pistonheads and not a sniff but paid the £16 for a 30 day listing and been getting steady enquiries all week

To be honest Autotrader has been a complete waste of time and money no real enquiries and plenty of scammers that send emails like this and want to buy my product/item/vehicle

" I am Thomas Pinson from Eccles, Manchester.

and would have loved to come and inspect this car at your place

myself, but I am a marine engineer and presently off-shore. I am

interested in buying this for my wife as a surprise birthday gift and

pls make sure it is in condition described. I will appreciate more

pictures if available and will be sending your money asap. My shipper

will be available to pick this up as soon as payment is made. Do you

have paypal account? because, I have a paypal account that I can

easily send money through because, its good for business payments. Get

back to me with your paypal email address and name in order for me to

have your money sent on time. Confirm sale to me and remove the add

from posting.

regards

Thomas Pinson"

Had loads like this always as a gift for someone, always can't see the car as the work away and always want to pay via Paypal.

Indeed John, not looking forward to it to be honest, but have to practical cars done 1000 miles since last July, gives Julie chronic backache after and hour and Craigs condition with his back has worsened so can barely travel in it at all, he can't even get in his own car so not good there.

That and my jobs a bit iffy at the moment as the boss is selling up so have to live in the real world.I'll have the 70bhp of Julies Ka at my disposal

Plus side if it goes to Norwich i'd not see it driving past everyday
