marvs not a bad bet to ask, seeing as hes had a few.....

lol Had a few? I have indeed tonight!! :thumb:

I always found Toyos great on the classics but I used F1's on the new age, found mine ok in the wet too on the Hawkeye

I assume you'll be trying Shaky.

Hard to beat his prices especially for ms members my last set came from him even have a name on i've heard of

For what its worth Pirelli P Zero's on mine very good tyre wet or dry, as for lasting don't know yet.

My last Scoob I fitted Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3 to them, and really liked them, and they lasted well, got almost 30k out of the set.

Current car has Pirelli P Zero Asymetrico's and they seem OK too, but then I don't get to give it the beans too often.

Not sure what I'd replace them with if I needed to, possible P-Zeros or whatever the latest Egale F1 is probably.

But then again, it may also depend upon what deals are around that the time as Michelin Pilot sports generally get good reviews, but they're not cheap and they wear out quite quick too, or so a mate with a skyline observed :-) think he got about 6000 miles out of a set, but then it was running over 600BHP :-)

Alspider is on about bridgestone REO70's......

sti's came with them as standard i believe...... my mate has a set on his and he rates them very highly!!!

think you got to work out if you want a set of really good grip tyres, and sacrifice on the mileage side.......... or go for something that will last for longer, but not as good. Remember one thing...... they are the only contact your car has with the road.... so go for the best you can afford bud!!! :roadrage:

depends on the miles you do in the car and your driving style matey..... i know when ever i need a set of tyres i'll be heading to shaky's to see what he can do.:laugh:

Let us know wht you go for in the end bud!!

personaly i;d worry more about gettign a decent tyre than how long they last, itw the only thing that connects you to the road :roadrage:

that said i have gone down the toyo route and got t1R's on mine, cheapest place i found was camskill and then get em fitted local.
