other than halfords,

where can i get LEGAL size letter/spacing but on a small/shorter plate size?

I've got FIL 973 plate and on a normal size 520x110 plate it has a lot of dead space at the front/end.

Halfords do Short Standard at 370x110

or medium standard at 420x110

all £15 each.

But I want to make sure that my plate look right on a shorter plate before I buy.

Marv,

Which size did you have on your 22B ?

Steve

Normal rear and smallest legal import on front - if you go on the site it tells you the smallest legal import size you can have and somewhere on there is the legal line about smaller front plates (and square rear plates if applicable) for imports, worth printing off and carrying wqith you

To be fair its pretty simple if you don't want to get pulled.

The letters need to be a minimum 50mm x 78mm in the Charles wright font (Can be 3D) and need a minimum of 11mm space between them with an 11mm border.

Hope that helps.

other thing is, I don't want those cheapo style plates where they print on a clear film then stick it o a coloured background plate (yellow/white)

i want the proper ones where its behind the clear acrylic plate.... those don't bubble up and crease.
