why are non paying members not allowed to post more than 4 times in a day i mean come on 4 times takes the biscuit in my opinion , yes im a paying member and have been for a few years , so why bring that in . I can understand not allowing non members to sell stuff , i can see the logic in that but not in this ???? Seeems very petty to me and i can think of a few regular usesrs who wont be too happy either

i reckon the thinking is to get more paid members to allow the club to develop

more paid members will benefit us all in the long run

it does not stop people viewing the site gaz and i know 4 is low but have a look at the average posting figures and you will see that even you as one of the highest posters only has an average of 2.5 posts per day

lets hope the increased income from this continues to develop the site in a way i know you want it too

very constructive argument ady , but why not allow people to say use there montly entilement as and when they feel like doing so , it will make for a happier site i think , i understand wot u are saying fella and like i said fair point , but u get some one log on for the first time start a conversation with a few bods on open forum then whoops sorry log back in tomorrow ?? I think that would be better and then hopefully the said person will think yeah i will pay to join this site looks ok to me etc,, etc,, etc,,

But how will it get more paid members though Ady...you get a new member...says hi,a few people reply(same night,or day)then they cant reply coz theyve used their 4 posts for the day.....thats gonna make them say "sod that" and they will walk away, just my opinion, but thats what i would do !!!

£1 a month and full benefits of the site-a rip off?? I think not-at the end of the day its got to be paid for somehow, the site dont run for free and its the cheapest site out there. Come on, i dont even think its a valid argument tbh, you pays ya cash you gets to talk as much shiit as you like, if not its just 4 a day-simples!

Being a fully paid member at the princely price of £12 a year does have its benefitslaugh.gif

because there aint such a thing as a free meal! As i said-its got to be more beneficial to become a paid up member as before, all we basically got was access to the members area and technical sections which hardly ever get used anyway. This now will encorage more to become fully fledged paid up members, thus getting the revenue to allow the site to improve and move on?

We cannot restrict posts on a monthly basis, we can only restrict on a daily basis. We've done alot of research into other sites and how they restrict posts and 25 per month is not uncommon, that's not even 1 post per day!

As said, we hope to take the club forward for the good and benefit of the paying members but we can't do that if people don't join up - at £1 per month we are the cheapest club of this kind in the country. Non-paying members can still view most of the Forum and get a very good idea of what goes on in here and hopefully the lure of what's in the bits they can't see and the advertised benefits of paid membership will encourage them to pay to join :hurray:
